SUPERKOTE 2000 Treatment for Metal® is a metal conditioning formula, for use in lubrication systems that require special protection, in the presence of extreme pressures, high temperatures and excessive wear. It is transported to metal parts by the lubricant and/or grease to which it is added, SUPERKOTE 2000. Treatment for Metal® smoothes and seals metal surfaces reducing friction and heat. As a result of this process, there is a drastic reduction in wear and a smoother operation of the mechanisms to which they are applied, without the danger of accumulation on the metal walls, therefore it does not alter the tolerance of motors and machinery. In addition, it contains stabilizers and corrosion neutralizers that protect metal against the formation of harmful acids and salts, when used as directed (1.5 – 2 oz.) per quart. 

  • Always use the type of oil recommended for your engine, check the type of oil, indicated quantity and replacement times in your vehicle manual.

  • The wear of parts in an engine or machinery produces small metal particles suspended by the oil and collected by the filter. Oil filters help keep these particles to a minimum, but they cannot completely remove them.

  • The contaminants of an oil (water, dust, fuel) do not modify the characteristics of SUPERKOTE 2000 Treatment for Metal®, thus the protection is maintained in extreme working conditions.

​WARNING:SUPERKOTE 2000 Metal Treatment® should be used after the first oil change in new and/or newly repaired vehicles. It is formulated for 80,000 km/2,500 working hours, however it is recommended to use every 20,000 km/700 working hours or one working year, whichever comes first. For other uses the general recommended measure of SUPERKOTE 2000 is 1.5 – 2 ounces of Metal Treatment® per ¼ gallon of lubricating oil.​

not an additive

It does not modify physical characteristics of lubricants, unlike additives, it does not contain any type of solid ceramic, PTFE, Teflon, molybdenum, silicon, graphite or metal. Therefore,does not void manufacturers warranties.

anti-friction grease

SUPERKOTE 2000 GREASEIt is a super water repellent anticorrosive formula that works with high pressure. It is designed under the highest quality standards with the aim of being the most efficient to work in extreme temperatures y high pressures generating stability and lubrication, essential for day to day de the industry.


GC:Mountain roads. Bearings subjected to high temperatures. Typical bearing service operating under light to very severe working conditions. Constant starts and stops (buses, taxis, police, etc.). Severe and heavy duty (trailers, tractors, tractors, heavy equipment) exceeds the MACK CG-C specification.

LB:heavy loads. Severe vibration. Construction equipment. Extended re-lubrication intervals. Exposure to water and other contaminants. Chassis components and universal joints under light and very heavy duty conditions. Contains a concentration of Treatment for Metal® that perfects its anti-wear and anti-friction properties, combined with other superior extreme pressure additives makes it exceed international NLGI standards. (National Lubricant Grease Institute).


Adjustment: 16% are caused by adjustment error when installing, checking or doing maintenance. Sometimes due to the lack of a torque wrench, its knowledge and calibration. Sometimes the bearing cannot be adjusted correctly due to excess grease.

Lubrication: 36% are caused by poor lubrication. This can be due to inadequate fat, excess or lack of fat. Greasing the spider until the new grease comes out is not correct in the bearing.

Pollution: 14% are caused by contamination of the environment or work, the review after working in the water, cleaning the work area and excessive dust affect the useful life of the equipment.

Fatigue: 34% are caused by fatigue. In general terms, we are talking about bearings that are overloaded, misapplied (bearings designed to be used in a vertical position and installed horizontally) or lack of protection due to low-resistance grease, poor adherence, high consistency, or poor resistance to contaminants. (water, temperature, gases, etc.)
